Um, Kool Keith?
Newish freshie track (fine, 2009 dammit) from everybody’s favorite oddball, Kool Keith. The song is Two Scoops. It involves autotune.
First off: I like this song a lot. Second off: the first verse doesn’t sound like any Kool Keith song I’ve ever heard (but please correct me in the comments). It is, dare I say it, coherent in the most conversant and non-chicken-throwing sense possible. The second verse brings it back to form, but when that first verse came on, I did a doubletake to make sure I was listening to the right song.

Kool Keith fell off a long time ago. Haven’t felt anything he’s done in a while, including this. That first verse just sounds like he’s being lazy.
